Durban, KZN – A family in Marianhill is still searching for answers after their son, Bongane William Mohlakoana, mysteriously disappeared during the Easter holidays of April 2019. Now, more than five years later, the family is appealing to the public to help bring him home and finally find closure.

About Bongane

Bongane was 24 years old at the time of his disappearance. He was last seen wearing blue pants and a navy jersey. His family reports that his sudden disappearance started as if he was sleepwalking, leaving loved ones shocked and desperate for information.

“He went missing while staying with us in eMarianhill because the colleges were closed for Easter,” a family member said. “He usually spent most of his time at his residence in Durban CBD, believed to be Dolphin Court, but he never returned from the holiday break.”

The family has been tirelessly trying to locate Bongane, reaching out to friends, neighbors, and authorities over the years, but no concrete leads have emerged. They are now urging the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small.
